Obviously,it is a very dangerous act. This situation usually happen to children who have parents that are lack of concern to their children. In the suburb or village, this situation easily can be seen. What is more worrying is I often see a situation when a mother has a helmet and the child does'nt have the helmet which is totally crazy.People are not safety conscious. They would think accident will never happen to them.Nevertheless, i'm sure they will regret once the cild head crash onto the ground or something. At that time we can hear them saying if i do this...if i do that..my child would'nt have died.

Don't you think parents who do commit this dangerous act should be punished and educated? And the photos of my family, we'll talk about it later ya...

I am agree with you madam, but sometime we cannot blame the parent only. Today's kids, even thought the parent give advice, they refuse to listen.

p/s I just curious... They are your children? They are cute.

I think parents should be very responsible to their children as they are not matured enough to think by themselves. Parents also should teach their children what is good and what is not.It not just teach but also have to know the ways to teach according to their children's age and level. No matter what, safety takes precedence over children.

hello madam. i hope u are in a good condition and get well soon!!
well, i don't really believe that they are actually riding the motorbike.hehe :)
however, this situation commonly seen in rural areas and in my neighbourhood of course! and i don't think people should put the blame on parents alone..

What can i say about this situation is children who does'nt have the helmet are risk to involve in accident. As parents, they should be more responsible to concern about their children's safety. They should teach them about the important of wearing helmet. This step will save the children as well as reducing accident cases.

p/s:i hope i'll meet ur cute daughters one day:-)

In my opinion, this picture shows an illegal action because a minor can't rides a motorcycle without an adult. On top of that, these kids do not wear a helmet which is totally important in order to protect their heads. I definitely believe that this daring act is common in our society. Currently our government has promotes awareness among local people so that they realise careless acts may cause themselves to suffer.

I think, children love to make something in their own way. when parent try to advice or stop them, they think that parent just burden them. They do not think that the advice from parent is for their own good.Children also have difficulty to follow the rule.

first of all..
if that is your husband's bike, then u got a very cool mate there.. and more important, you are wayy cooler to let your husband have one cause i am very sure that my dad would love one too. haha.

secondly,
just to share, the main reason why my mom won't ever approve him to have one of those (motorbike) is because she is so sure that sooner or later, my brothers will ride it dangerously as we are aware of teenager's behaviors nowadays.. we have a scooter now but my dad never can ride it without his power ranger's helmet (no kidding) otherwise my mom will hide the keys and i will never ride the scooter with him cause of the helmet.. my brothers jus don't like to wear the helmet except after my dad bought for them the cool designed helmet. (ofcourse the cartoon printed one) duhhh.. all i can say about this situation is ' adik-adik, please don't forget your helmet next time.'

First of all, the bike is my nephew's. My brother in-law bought him the bike for his 16th birthday. My husband does not know how to ride as he only likes driving cars. I, myself do not know how to ride and I did try to learn when I was small then my protective brothers were scared that I might fall so they stopped me from trying. My children, if they want to learn one day how to ride, I will let them but I will not buy them the bikes. Most parents would buy once their children ask them to because they believe this will lessen their problem in ferrying their children to school as the children can go by themselves once they have the facility made available for them. Once given the freedom most youngsters tend to avoid themselves from abiding to the rules and regulations. Some do follow the advices from the parents. It is all about educating them to choose what is best for them. Young people, I believe hate the idea of being told the do's and the don'ts and they will not follow because they are just rebellious. Young people prefer to be given options instead. What do you all think?

i kind of agree with the rebellious part.there just too many times when i know that what my parents are trying to tell me to do something or don't do something,it was just for my own good.but there were just times where i felt like i want to learn myself and make the mistakes.so yes, i do prefer to be given options instead of just a big no.

on the motorcycle and the helmet part,i think it's quite common scene in rural areas. and it's only because people just don't think that accidents will happen to them. but what more disgusting is when the parent wears the helmet but did'nt put it on their kids. i had my junior who died in an accident. she did'nt has a licence and she did'nt wear her helmet properly. as much that shows that her parents may neglected her to actually let her ride the bike,i still believe that we can't just blame the parents.

p/s : cute daughters you have. ^_~
