Most of the time in the past, my students were not careful with the language and spelling. However, your group this semester has given me a good first impression. Good job! Most of you tried your best to submit your thesis statements on time.
Our second assignment will be an easy one. For next week, we are going to discuss a topic in class.
The topic is: Blogging harms society. Do you agree?
I am not yet asking you to give a thesis statement for the topic mentioned. What you need to do is to find as much information on the topic and share some of the information with your friends in the comment box. You might want to argue with your friends' ideas or points as you are reading the points posted.
I am expecting an active discussion in this blog for this topic and we shall continue discussing in class next week. You have all Friday, Saturday and Sunday to argue.
I am going to miss all of you till we meet again.

hmm..
for me, blogging does not harm anybody especially society.
blogging gives us many benefits such as gets more knowledge, improves our social skill and helps us improves our language.
No Dear Anonymous, You do not need to have a blogspot account to leave your assignments or comments. Please ask someone who knows how to. It is about know how not knowing what.
Anis Zaid, does it really help us to improve our language? Which language are we talking about now?

madam i disagree with the topic regarding blogging harms society ... there is good n bad things about blogging .. the good thing about blogging is that it gives information , connect us with our friend and sometimes through blogging we can actually get updated with all things that happen around us ..

about your topic,im totally agree that blogging harm society because when people only focus to blogging and update their story,of course they dont have any time to be part of society.we know that blogging is addicted,its like drug.when people feel interest to blogging,they just focuses on that and ignored what more important from that such as join community in their neighbourhood.

first and foremost I want say that I totally disagree that blogging harms the society. It actually depends on individuality but mostly blogs are not harmful at all. Blogging is the medium of communication between society, between distant friends in terms of they live far away from each other and it would be hard for them to keep up with each other's information. Plus it's free. Most blogs are written in English therefore it is very helpful in improving our language as in English language and I am speaking or in this case writing based on experience. Blogs also contains lots of useful knowledge IF you know how and where to look for it. Thus there is nothing actually very harmful about blogging. :)

it depends on what language we use for the blog..
for example, my sister's english language has been improved since she starts blogging. through blog, her writing skill and vocabulary in english had improved.
I don't think so that blogging harms society because it's actually depends on individuality whether they can manage their study time,social time and blogging. if they can manage it properly, so it is untrue that blogging harms sociey. besides, it's actually give advantage to people especially students for not wasting their time doing something unconstructive.

for me,the advantages that we get from blogging is more than its disadvantages.For the example,we can get the information easily.We also can meet a lot of people from all around the world and at the sametime we can have a discussion and exchange our ideas.We can be open minded person and think out of the box.

salam madam,sorry for the late reply.i disagree that blogging harms society because for me,blog acts as a medium for society to get connected.for example,just like the way you did.communication happen not just by talking but it can still going via blog.
